THE TWO CIRCUITS OF A VERY SPECIAL INDUSTRIAL SELF-PRIMING PUMP

The TARUA® industrial self-priming pump consists of two separate circuits: the service hydraulic circuit and the pumping circuit.

HYDRAULIC SERVICE CIRCUIT

It is the circuit exclusively devoted to moving the service fluid from one cylinder to another. Action that causes the movement of the lung. An electric centrifugal pump is used to move the service water, which is in fact the motor of the self-priming pump “full passage” Tarua ®.

PUMPING CIRCUIT

This is the circuit devoted exclusively to product transfer. The cylinder contains the service liquid in which the lung and sealing valves are immersed. The pumping effect of Tarua ®, is generated by the movement ofthe lung compression and expansion, which occurs due to the displacement of the service liquid (H2O). By introducing the service liquid inside a cylinder, the lung is compressed, (delivery) by extracting the service liquid, the lung expands, creating the vacuum necessary for suction.

THE LUNG OF THE PUMPING CIRCUIT

Tarua ® is also a program of industrial volumetric self-priming pumps called “lung pump.” The technological innovation lies in the lung-valve combination. The lung is made of NBR rubber because it must be flexible and resist the continuous and fast movement of compression and expansion. It is sixteen times larger than the diameter of the valve to accommodate large bodies and accompany them smoothly to the outlet in the compression phase. It was designed and manufactured exclusively by Ideas & Products.

THE KODRILL VALVE OF THE PUMPING CIRCUIT

La Kodrill check valve plays a very important role in the operation of Tarua ® industrial self-priming pumps . Installed at both ends of the lung, it allows both to close the lung and to allow large solids to pass through smoothly so that they do not become stuck. It is made of NBR rubber because it must be flexible. It must open fully (up to the diameter of the suction pipe) and close tightly to ensure a vacuum seal. In the closed state, it looks like a normal gooseneck valve.
