A POSITIVE DISPLACEMENT, SELF-PRIMING, “LUNG” AND “FULL PASSAGE” PUMP
TARUA® is a positive displacement pump but also a full-fledged line of positive displacement pumps (i.e., pumps that take advantage of the change in volume in a chamber to give rise to suction or thrust on a fluid) and self-priming pumps (with higher suction capacities and which operate without the need to fill the line). But the special feature of these pumps is above all that they are able to suck thanks to the vacuum generated by the movement of a large “lung,” sixteen times larger than the diameter of the two valves that close it at the ends. This technological design makes it possible to obtain“full-passage” positive displacement pumps, capable of smoothly sucking in all kinds of fluids and bodies, even large ones (up to pipeline diameter) without crushing or damaging them.
