Our history as an industrial pump company
IDEE E PRODOTTI was founded in 1984 in Milan, Italy, by Vincenzo Di Leo, an entrepreneur and inventor specializing in mechanical water and fluid waste treatment technologies. His work in sanitation technology has attracted the support of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Today, we are recognized internationally as one of the most established pump manufacturers in Italy, addressing key challenges in sanitation, resource recovery and environmental sustainability. We research, develop, manufacture and market integrated technologies ranging from solid-liquid separation to advanced pumping systems. Our expertise spans industrial production, environmental protection and emergency response.

What we do: industrial pumps and integrated pumping systems
- As an industrial pump company, we design and develop advanced pumping and treatment solutions for demanding industrial applications, going beyond the traditional concept of water pumps. Tarua ® positive displacement pumps are engineered to handle liquids, sludge and solids through a full-passage design, ensuring continuous flow without clogging even in complex operating conditions. Thanks to their vacuum-assisted technology, Tarua pumps enable efficient suction and reliable transfer of difficult materials across industrial and environmental applications.
- Alongside pumping technologies, we develop innovative filtration systems such as Dynamic Filtration (Active Filtration), designed to increase dryness and significantly reduce processing time. Our solutions include gravity-based systems like DRY BOX ® and pressure-based systems such as STRIZBOX.
- We also provide in-line treatment and conditioning systems through solutions such as ZUMIX and PHAZEBOX, enabling multiple processes to be managed efficiently with a single integrated system.
